DIETARY AIDE-GLADWIN PINES
Position
Summary: The Dietary Aide reports to the Food Service Director. Responsibilities include performing diversified tasks within the food service department, including preparation of hot/cold foods, tray line service, cafeteria service, etc., serving the patients/residents/staff/guests high quality, adequate and accurate foods.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge of food preparation, service and modified diet restrictions as normally acquired through 1 to 3 years experience working in a medical care facility or similar setting preferred.
BLS healthcare provider card required.
Culinary Arts training or institutional cooking/baking experience preferred.
Able to work in a variety of environments, including exposure to heat, water, grease, chemicals, electric and radiant hazards, noise, odors, unpredictable situations and many interruptions.
